I KNOW THE WAY

The plateaus of life we must all go through

There are things to learn we never knew

Yet all posses the knowledge too

But that bell… not all can ring

Oh some you see are blessed to be

But others they can never see

Yet my defeat, it turns to knowledge

And alters not, my sweet soul

And know if I were to let it go

Me, I would not be…

So…

I hold on to myself

Even when there’s no one else

I’ll always march on to that beat

…And if you want to hold onto me

For a better tomorrow

And a more lovely today

I’ll tell you friend
